Anyone else find they have to be thicker skinned than usual at the moment on Fab?

I've been receiving some nasty comments lately and dealing with fakes too.

It's not new, comes in waves, but sadly true.....

.....try to keep a focus on the positives and what actually matters, the rest is noise unless you block it into silence....

We live in "interesting" times. People are bored, uncertain and scared. This leads some to make an extra effort to understand that everyone needs a little leeway and others to lash out.

The people who lash out will pick on what they perceive to be a weak point. For us that's our age, for others it might be their gender or preferences. Anyone who's really nasty needs reporting and pitying.

Hi OP.

The problem with the world is people.... unfortunately some haven't learnt the "if you can't say anything nice" thing... some go out of their way to be rude, put down or just plain ignore others... my perspective is, it's their insecurities. Having to make another human feel worse, to make themselves feel better. Who knows the cause? Jealousy, fear of rejection, or just plain mean. As long as you stay nice, at least you know you're not part of the problem.

Bit peace and love that wasn't it...

I’ve started to get nasty back, I like having a good rant and then block so they can’t reply. I find it cleansing and has really helped to not get so wrapped up in silly little people

Yes I know what you mean, I’ve always got nasty messages, especially from those I politely rejected, but lately it does seem to have ramped up a bit. Lots of very angry people out there taking it out on innocent fabbers
