A little village

I’m working and had planned to drive to see my family afterwards for the first time in 6 months. However at the precise minute I finished packing my bags, the news came on and announced new lockdown in the exact area they live in. If there was a definition of Sod’s law this would be it. I’m devastated. It’s been a rough few months working for the NHS and the thought of seeing them was keeping me going ...

It is my first day of holiday (staycation in London) and also my birthday. Not much celebration planned, everybody is in isolation and keeps distancing. So I enjoying a cup of coffee and a slice of cheesecake for breakfast, checking my emails and then probably doing some work in the garden before it getting too hot. BBQ for one and a mini bottle of Prosecco in the evening, before that, chat with friends over the Internet. I hate isolation and being alone!

I'm gonna take a walk to the supermarket later and grab some provisions for the weekend (a rare one by myself as J has to work).

I may attempt some yoga outside too.

Been bedridden since Monday afternoon so hoping pain levels stay manageable and I can be productive!

"I’m working and had planned to drive to see my family afterwards for the first time in 6 months. However at the precise minute I finished packing my bags, the news came on and announced new lockdown in the exact area they live in. If there was a definition of Sod’s law this would be it. I’m devastated. It’s been a rough few months working for the NHS and the thought of seeing them was keeping me going ...

So sorry to hear that sending love

I am working until 6, then my Daughter in law is coming for tea "

Thank you

We’ve worked out that one of my sisters actually lives outside of the locked down area - so I can go and stay with her but I can’t see my other sister or my Dad. 1 out of 3 isn’t bad.

Xx

"I will have a play in my gym, go on a bike ride, play my guitar a bit, have a bath, frustrate myself perving at girls on here, have a wank or 3, and fall asleep

I remember those days well of having a wank or 3

Where did they go?"

Our the window

I'm still good with the multiples though

Walking down the only road I've ever known!

I'm going to have a shower now to cool down.
