I just spent a ridiculous half an hour taking about 50 "sexy" photos with my phone, only to end up deleting all but 4! Please tell me other people do this? Takes that many to get a halfway decent one!

I’m the same OP. Although I print mine off and post through neighbours doors. Always brightens their day to receive my sexy pics. Mrs Carmichael said last Tuesdays crotch shot was my best dick pic yet. Bless her. She’s 89, you know.

Sharon does also, I take loads and most I think are great, once Shaz has spent ages looking through them I'm lucky if just a couple are left.

The silver one on our profile, I took about 60... there was only that one she liked

I just presume this is just a thing with women same with getting ready for a night out, taking regular selfies, makeup etc your pics are amazing tho

Even fashion photographers will take 100s but only use a few.

Big subject. Genius suggests you take one and that is it. Mere mortals take and reject far more. Depends on how much time you spend BEFORE you press the shutter.

A few quick pointers. If you are taking selfies on a phone, what you see on the preview may not match the final image. Unless you spend time composing you will see crap you didnt notice in the background. Finally, what is happening in your head in your pose takes effort to match on the camera, sometimes because of the distraction of being the cameraman as well as the subject.

- Take time looking at background and a critical (but kind) eye on yourself

- Check for an option around mirroring (does it show what another person sees or what you see in the mirror).

- Lighting/exposure can fluctuate in a moment as the camera changes its mind about what it thinks you want. Lock exposure, white balance and focus

- using a self timer/remote and a tripod allows you to reproduce things consistantly and focus more on how you look in the seconds before you take the picture

I take 4 or 5, think fuck it, and just choose one. I tend to send more real ones (lumpy bumpy) out privately

Yep. I delete loads. I’ll take about 70-100 with different lingerie, and then go through them. The odd occasion I’ve had 30 or so usable ones, but sometimes I’ll only get a couple that I like .

It’s fun though so it’s ok

I used to be the same, taking 100+ pics for an hour to get 3 or 4 decent ones. But that's put me off taking new pics so now I don't care so much about it and don't usually take more than 10

Nope! I video select a frame, photo shoot it, delete video, job done! Sooo much easier!

Nah I'm too lazy. I usually take 3-5 and just pick from them. Probably why some of mine could be better really. I keep spotting things like stray cat hair and shoes in the background.
