I think its a bad idea.

Swinging is a private side to most peoples sex life and most would want it kept private.

Would you advertise your house was empty cos you were on holiday so some low lifes could burgle you?

What if members were at school or somewhere with their children, would you want a bunch of idiots leering at you because they've made a fake account to find swingers?

Its a bad move, not very safe for personal protection.

Think its far fetched?

Take a look at facebook and the timeline thing, it tells people where you are which in turn let's toerags know when its a good time to nip round to your house and rob you etc.

Have you seen how work uses social networking sites to see what their employees are up to?

They could do the same with the afore mentioned.

It will only take the mistake of not opting out or forgetting to switch from opting in/out for it to be revealed what you get up to in your personal life.

You never know, you could be sat with your mother and both of you could be very embarassed

Some other web sites and apps already use the technology as we all know. Even on those sites when I have been sitting next to a friend who is also on the same site the greatest accuracy it could give was less than 500 metres away. So unless you are standing next to somebody and you both already know eachother or you recognise them from their picture the chances of actually being next to somebody looking for you is quite slim. Saying that I accept it is not impossible for that to happen so I think an opt out option is vital.

I wonder what the legal implications would be for the site if someone is tracked down and attacked? Ok there are some positives with local to me people but on the negative side it could be quite dangerous. I am assuming it is an opt IN thing with a disclaimer if not which is the best legal claims company
