Does distance

Factor into who you get friendly with on here, Or does it have no prevalence to you. Are you Mabey drawn to people closer to you in miles, or maybe you just don't care. Just curious on everyones thoughts

I’m really picky when it comes to distance. On the one hand I don’t want someone on my doorstep that I might run in to at the supermarket but also I don’t want to have to plan a massive journey to make it happen.

Somewhere between 15 mins and an hours drive is the sweet spot for me

I have much better conversation with people further away, bar the odd one or two. It's nice having people over for a weekend not that it happens often, and I'd also take a road trip! So distance isn't a problem for me.

I don't tend to chat to people on the forum because I think I am going to meet them but more because they interest me and I want to get to know them.

I would travel to meet though if it developed that way enough x

I dont drive, I dont mind an hour on a train to somewhere. Further for someone special. Prefer those journeys to be overnights. Distance does not matter for chatter though.

distance doesn't really matter when it comes to who I'm talking to.

I work shifts anyway and it's normally me that gets called in on my day off if someone calls in sick so I'm not the easiest person to arrange a meet with.

To guarantee I'll have the time I'd need to book it off work as holiday.

I'm the same. If its not a distance reasonable for a coffee then I dont do it anymore.

To much pressure as Ive got myself into to many difficult situations in the past.

For what I'm looking for it just doesn't work. People make promises they don't keep so its a definite no from me unfortunately.

However if I was looking for one offs it would be great

I think it purely down to how will you get along and simply if you get each other. If all of that clicks into place and you’re willing to meet halfway or make a weekend of it. I think distance is not really a thing

I LOVE your profile! I’m more here for the forums now, I’ve found local or distance can make promises that mean fuck all, still not willing to just meet anyone though so if he happens along then great, if not? I’ll get some more cats

Oh thanks very much indeed .

I have a sister that lives in Western so do travel up there every now and again.

I'd like someone in my real life not just I'll travel to the moon and back then fuck off. Who's next...

Unfortunately this place changes people and its not always for the best.

Trust no one then you can't be disappointed.

Having said that there's some wonderful people on here if they lived closer I'd really like to meet.

Social events are the way forward but Ive been saying that for at least a year.

To a degree yes, we don't accommodate so are happy to travel an hour or so if the other person is also willing to travel and say meet halfway then we don't mind. Meets have to be arranged in advance anyway so it's not an issue to us.

Not as friends. I chat to people from all over. Anything else it does yes. I have too many commitments to be able to travel all the time and I only usually meet one person at a time regularly so no it’s not for me.

It does for us.

Lily doesn’t like to travel too far as she can get car sick.

We also don’t meet people that are too close.

Our selection radius would look like a big doughnut if you drew it on a map!
