I understand ladies get so many messages a day and it is hard for them to keep up and reply to all, I was thinking messages get send and not seen or not read ( maybe some ladies own choices ) , I think the should be a feature like the wink that you can’t send no more messages until the lady has accepted your message, that maybe slow down the flow of message ladies get?? Just a thought!

A little village

I think when you try to message someone a 2nd time who hasn’t replied to the first, a prompt pops up to remind you they didn’t reply and to reconsider sending another.

I dint think that will help people get replies though as ladies will reply to messages they choose to.

A better option would be god guys to look at the warning that comes up (at least it used to) telling them that they have already messaged that person and they haven't read the message yet.

The amount of impatient and rude guys I get messaging me 3 times before I reply to them is ridiculous and just puts me off them.

A lot of the ladies love to receive loads of messages - they can already slow then down if they choose to.

OP - as I said ... If your first message hasn’t been read - you will be prompted before you send a second one. Problem solved - don’t send another if you see that prompt.

They will have seen it. They have chosen not to respond. Move on.

I’m sure the prompt gets more and more clearer! I was sending messages for the secret thread and on the 3rd one I got a prompt saying ‘they *still haven’t replied to your previous messages!!’ I panicked as I thought I would get blocked!! I never sent the message

I know I’ve seen this before too on the secret service threads hence how I know about it. That big yellow banner does induce irrational panic, doesn’t it....

Exactly. The filters are there to tighten up if you don't want a load of mail. It's why I have mine on.
