Does fab give people a sense of confidence which otherwise in person wouldn’t be there? What’s your thoughts?

I imagine it can do, but then I imagine it could also harm confidence in some circumstances.

I think it's easier to be yourself.. as you can't see the actual reaction to what someone might think.

But sometimes you can read a reply to a thread the wrong way and it can really knock your confidence..

I think you need to be a little confident to be on fab, but confidence can certainly grow with age/ experiences. I’m reasonably confident I myself so I don’t think fab itself made me more confident.

No I’m very similar online as I am offline in terms of how confident I feel. Situations tend to determine how variable that is. On the whole I’m pretty confident, with one notable exception.

"It works both ways depending which way you're going..... "

Agreed. I think that sometimes it can give someone a confidence boost and at the same time, there's nothing wrong with that. Why shouldn't people feel more confident in who they are (obvs sometimes it's false flattery from those who want to fuck you but I'm trying to keep this reply succinct). Sometimes it can make a person feel less confident if they compare themselves to others (or how they see others as being). I don't see it as a bad thing overall, unless it makes someone act like a twunt.

How they see others is so key here! I think with a little practice we can manipulate our own confidence for the better. Still, nobody likes a cocky cunt though.....

La la land

I think it depends on the individuals outlook. And with me that can vary day to day. Sometimes it can be a massive confidence boost, especially if someone gives you a nice compliment when you're having a good day. Others when you're feeling a bit shitty about yourself and you compare yourself with others it's totally not.

I think we're all guilty of feeling we don't fit in on here which is complete bull, everyone is entitled and as valid as anyone else on here. Nobody is above or below anyone else, something many of us forget

I think you need to stand on solid ground and not let your confidence feelings or mood be swayed too much - good or bad - by what is said here. But if people are important to you and genuine, listen to what they say, think about it , maybe reflect on it. Don’t be like those people who get a bad email and.sulk about it all day!

Confidence - yes!

I’ve always been self conscious about my height as a male. However despite everyone having their preference about the height of a sexual partner, looking through Fab has taught me that there’s no real need to make a big deal out of it. You can’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but there’ll always be someone who’ll want a coffee! BE A COFFEE!

"Does fab give people a sense of confidence which otherwise in person wouldn’t be there? What’s your thoughts?"

I think it is a double sided sword, it can give you the confidence to go for what you want and be who you are with no judgement....

But it can knock you just as quick and twice as hard when you send message after message and you get no replies not because you are bad, ugly or crude but because the ratio and sheer volume of men / woman is s disproportionate ...

the above is probably B.S im just shit at pulling

No not really nothing like having high standards is fine it’s your preference which would determine what you would class as high standard I guess. I’m just curious to others opinion on this subject that’s all. No hidden agendas

I talk/write more here than I probably would in person. The mechanics of diving into conversations and pushing myself forwards to be heard is not me, so I tend to just sit back and watch and listen. I can talk into the ether here on the forum all day long.

It hasnt given me any more confidence to meet others I dont think, it does highlight insecurities I might have instead, and becomes a reason I may not meet or do something.

I think it does give shy people a sense of confidence ,well , personally for me ,l'm a fierce shy guy and wouldn't in a million years have the confidence to approach a lady in the real world but here l can be very respectfully relaxed and feel like l can be myself.
