If it's happened a few times I'd probably just let them know I'm no longer interested in meeting them until a time comes when they can fully commit to it.

If they haven't been letting you know in advance etc. Then I'd just block and move on.

Okay, so I kinda get that. I don’t drive, I would either have to get the bus or train, so I’d be wet and miserable by the time I got to the meet. So yeah, I kinda get it.

I’d give them one more chance

If you planning on a meet in the woods then that is possibly understandable, if it was in doors then not such a good reason

It’s a bit of a silly question it depends on who and why. Some people are really bad at organising stuff , some are just really busy and sometimes you need to reschedule it’s life - others are flaky or time wasters.

Just before Christmas a good friend of mine cancelled on me twice because it was raining. I was upset at the time because I felt that she thought it wasn't worth getting a bit damp to meet me. However I think our friendship is worth more than that so next time we arranged to meet I went as agreed.

I'm my opinion it entirely depends on how good a friend they are

I think it would depend on who it was and the reason. We all have lives outside of here and sometimes the 'real world' gets in the way. Id normally give someone a 2nd/3rd chance. Especially if we had met before.

I take the cancellation if its not

a serious one but stop chasing them, if it naturally fades then it wasn't meant to be, I've had a few of them on here.

With most we have wanted to meet so much that the social happens very soon after making that initial connection

Dpends on the reason if I think it's a genuine reason then ye they get a second chance if I think they have just gotten cold feet and especially if they leave it late to cancel then no they don't get another chance anymore.

I guess if you'd gone to a lot of trouble... New outfit, childcare, petcare booked hotel, time off work, binned family off etc then I'd be disappointed ... But so much happens out of our control, I'd be understanding i think and give them another chance ... But i wouldn't necessarily chase them and i would expect some apology /explanation

I normally run a 'Two strikes and you're out' rule; real life can get in the way at times, but I would expect more of an effort to avoid this for a second attempt?

I did got to three attempts for one woman, but I had met her twice for socials. I couldn't forgive her for ghosting me on the third attempt and posting a veri from someone else for that day.....

It really depends on the reason, how much notice they gave and if you believe it was genuine. I'd usually give a second chance, but after that, nope.

What if the third time wasn't ghosting you for an alternative meet? Swingers are a harsh bunch. By that I mean her, not you.

Having met her twice already for socials, and chatted extensively via kik, when she went quiet on me 3 days before our play date I thought it was a little odd, but then seeing her post a veri from another guy (for that day) was.........harsh

Depends if it’s a first meet then there’s no second chance if we meet before and something comes up I can understand as everyone has a life outside sex and the bedroom but 2 in a row and ur gone for good and makeing a habit off it and I will start to not bother and see what else is out there xx

That can happen quite a lot for me personally I normal work on a first come first served base but I will always offer seconds or thirds or fourths and it’s up to the person if they want to take someone seconds thirds or fourths or meet a nother time but will always be upfront with people x

where I like to be... down south

Similar thing happened to me as well, everything was going great... we had our first date and a week later our second one (i did post about it in one of the late night threads) however since that second date it seems she was becoming very distant.... things kind of fizzled out until she found out about another date I had and suddenly is being very overly keen.

However knowing how she left me feeling, im not giving her a second chance.... been there done that in a past relationship and got seriously funked over (both mentally and financially)

Depends on the situation tbh...there are the ultimate times wasters.. absolutely...then there are the Genuine ones that have no choice but to cancel..ie a separated lady with kids could cancel cause her ex.was to take the kids but decided at the very last second he wouldn't ..the only unfortunate thing is you have to go through it to discover which is which ...

Yeah sack them off. Time wasters. Unless they’ve got damn good excuses they can prove. But even then they’re probably going to do it again at some point. Why waste the time.
