Any recommendations?

Maternal grandmother had great skin, I wish I had more of her genes. Sadly I'm heading the paternal route and have more lines than london's underground.

Have a look at retinol (start with low concentration and build up). Hyaluronic acid may have a plumping effect. Chemical exfoliant will help with dullness.

The Ordinary are the bomb for the price.

I'm loving Nip and fab retinol fix and dragons blood products...

Their glycolic acid range is great too. Amazon has some good deals. X

I tried vit A capsules used with a face wand to no avail. Olay have brought out a retinol product so am trying that. Also have L'Oréal hyaluronic acid. So fingers crossed.

I'll check out The Ordinary.

Lol. Trying to do the preventative thing. (I also use salicylic acid for spots)

My mum likes the Buffet serum from The Ordinary.

Go botox and fillers - Beats any cream on the market.

You can go wrong with The Ordinary, I will say... introduce one thing at a time, patch test, start with low concentrations. It's potent stuff.

If I'm finding serums expensive, I cannot even afford to look at botox prices

A small bottle of Buffet is £12.70.

Totally agree with that. I was looking at skin advice and it was stating which one to put on first, then x, y, z but then if you do that and have a reaction, you won't know which one it is. Also, new beauty regimes often causes spots as the skin detoxifies from previous or no regime.

Sussex countryside

I am currently using Tropic skin care - all natural and vegan. I just have a good twice a day routine.

"No alcohol or smoking."

That won't reverse the signs of aging. Besides, I've never smoked, and alcohol is a mere occasional treat .

Yeah. That's another point. If you want to age slower: skip the tanning and slather on the sunscreen. Need both UVA and UVB protection.

I celebrate my whiteness (= I'm an indoors person, I hide from the sun as I find high humidity suffocating and burn easily). I've used face creams with uv protection since they first came out.

I have some teenage sins I'm sure I'll atone for. (Have to be more careful with the sun with some of these products)
