What was the last good thing that happened to you, or at least the first good thing that comes to mind?

For me it was when me and my oartner had to self isolate when he had a cough. Our neighbour went shopping for us and made sure we had everything we needed. Good egg she is .

Quality time on the beach with my boys for a couple of days last week.

All through lockdown I've been exchanging little gifts with one of my friends. I sent him a cheese hamper, he sent me a pack of cocktails. I sent him some books, he sent me a load of chocolate.

Yesterday I got home to find he'd sent me two ripe mangoes. I'm just eating one and it's beautiful.

Now I need to decide what to send back this week.

I can't narrow it down to one so I'm going to choose two (#polylife) (sorry that was dire)

One, the lovely messages in my inbox that I really didn't expect today. I feel not invisible and smiled a lot when I read them. People are wonderful and I won't forget that any time soon. And my close friend who is always there for me.

Two, my mum has gone and bought a very expensive stunning cathedral veil for her wedding. She's said that when I get married I can have it and I think it's the first wedding related thing that I've seen that actually makes me think I could be an okay looking bride.

That was lovely of them. Sometimes it just becomes expected to crack on and cope in a crisis and its totally unfair. Employers who appreciate their staff and their efforts are so valuable.

"This is really shallow compared to yours Lacey, but it was the amazing sex I had last night. "

Hope it wasn't too shallow

When the hotels opened the Mr and i booked in for a day of pure unadulterated pleasure. It was by far & away the best day off work that I have had in the longest time.

"I can't narrow it down to one so I'm going to choose two (#polylife) (sorry that was dire)

You go for it Meli! I'm so glad your life is full enough of joy to find it hard to choose!

This is so lovely to read. I can almost see your smiles. And you will make a beautiful bride. Mostly as you radiate positively and happiness so much already that I know you will glow so, so bright on your wedding day.

Oh Lacey. You have such a beautiful soul! Thank you. x"

That's such a lovely thing to say
