Profile before message.

Hi all

Dont know about everyone else but Just a little something that annoys the hell out of us.

They clearly see we have sent them a message, yet instead of reading it they check our profile first.

Does anyone else find this rude? or is it accepted that everyone checks to see if they like pics before deciding a message is worthy of clicking on?

Its definitely not rude, I do this all the time.

Why would I waste time reading a message if I'm not sure I'm interested in whoever sent it? (unless it's from someone I already know of course)

We dont mind if people check our profile first. We look at peoples profile before we reply to see if we are compatible

I usually do check the profile first I wouldn’t say it’s rude at all to see who’s just sent you a message

I'm another rude person, I will often check a profile before replying, even if I've replied before just to refresh my mind as to who they are

Not rude.

This is a sex site, attraction is key.

No point wasting each others time if it isn't there.

Just take it as a "no thanks" and carry on

We read a message, we check the profile. If we dont see any attraction we reply with a polite message.

For us if someone hasn't put effort into a message we dont even look at the profile.

Maybe people have different priorities??

We always do it, also to check if it’s someone we already know that we’ve for their username or they’ve changed their username

Same thing, just a different order.

For many, especially single women, they won't have time to respond to all messages, saves a lot of time to have a peruse of the profile first sometimes.

I always check the profile first. If it's clear the sender doesn't match what I'm looking for - I won't even bother reading the message.
