Sydney University taking pics?

Hey, just a question if curiosity.

I see on people's profiles about their pics being their own property, which is fair enough

On occasion I see the one about 'Sydney University' do not have permission.

What is this exactly?

How is another country affecting a UK singers site?

Again, just curiosity being piqued,

It's one of these viral things that you can't get rid of. I've never seen any evidence of what Sydney University does with Fab or anything that suggests the disclaimer is of any value. But try and get rid of it.

I wonder what the University of Sydney make of this, to be honest. If they're even aware.

"I wonder what the University of Sydney make of this, to be honest. If they're even aware."

There's a disclaimer on their Web site that says Fab members are not allowed to take degrees at Sydney University and if they apply they will be prosecuted to the full extent allowed by law.

My Own Little World

It is up there with people putting the 'Facebook is now a publically traded entity' warning on their profile, both totally pointless.

2 the amount of data here is huge and it’s available for free. So from a research point of view the site forms an ideal place to collect data, study it.

Personally I am not surprised.

I honestly don't know why people are so bothered.

You post pictures on the internet they can be seen/used by anyone.

Your disclaimer won't stop that
