"Wayward Sons is a great new band. The lead singer used to front Little Angels, from the 90's UK rock scene. Days Of The New self titled debut album. New Age Grunge from the 90's. The band Brad, debut album Shame is a cracker. It's a side project from the one of the guitarists from Pearl Jam (Stone Gossard). Temple Of The Dog. Collaboration between Soundgarden and Pearl Jam in memory of a good friend called L'Andrew from the band Mother Love Bone. Temple's one and only self titled album has some of THE best songs ever written. Beautifully crafted songs of infinite sadness... One for all to enjoy! " Temple of the Dog - brilliant album

"My favourite signed band are from Pennsylvania and are called Live, they have some great albums including Throwing Copper, The Distance to here and V plus many more besides" I bought 'The distance to here' by Live back in 1999/2000 partly because of the Psychedelic artwork on the album cover! I have a listen over the weekend.....I haven't played it in years.

Californication (Guitar crazy) 3. By the Way (Perfect ...my favourite & most hits) 4. "Which bands do u think people should listen to ??? I’m going to recommend the group who in my mind are the biggest cult band in the world - this band should be playing stadiums but they just love to play little clubs Check out a band from Houston Texas called Kings X - they have been going for 40 years and they are bloody incredible " Kings x are my mates favourite band, he also likes, Alice in chains, soundgarden etc and more recently and fairly unknown are bands like boss keloid, monolith cult, valafar, Ironrat

"A band from the 90s called The Blessing. Their first album (of two) Prince of the Deep Water is one of my all-time favourites, but hardly anybody has ever heard of them. Many that have love them, as can be seen from Amazon reviews. " I saw them about six years ago at the Half Moon, Putney. The first set was tracks from Prince Of The Deep Water, the other album and assorted CD single tracks from the time in full, the second was a set of their favourite soul, blues and reggae covers. And thankfully, Bill Topley had finally shed the ridiculous receding mullet (or nature had shed it for him) Sadly, I haven't seen them again since.

"The Hooters, opened up live aid in philly, as my brother in law said 'the best band I've never heard of'. Still going strong. The Rainmakers, first saw them on the 'tube', not yesterday! Brilliant! " I got into both of them in the mid 80s when I got given a compilation album called 'Rock The Nation' for my birthday. Both great bands. Are the Rainmakers still with us? I have their first three albums on vinyl and they're superb. Other similar bands I loved later that decade were Timbuk 3 and The Pursuit Of Happiness.

"I'm listening to these few off and on out of a long list of newish stuff. The wombats. The foals. The courteeners. The blossoms. Having an old Baggy/britpop/madchester faze at the moment too. Pulp, the roses, Feeder, charlatans, Suede, Happy Mondays, Elastica, I spirals. Embrace, primal scream. Keane, joy division. Soup dragons and obviously Oasis. Just a few of whats on my playist at the moment. ???? " Suede and Pulp remind me of the days when I used to stride round London in size 38 trousers, eyeliner, backcombed hair, silver boots and a fake fur coat, speeding off my brain and being very 'decadent' If truth be known, I as probably a bit of a prat, but I'd give anything for those days- and that waistline- to return...

"Cold chisel The Divinyls A couple of old but good ones from my former home Aus Saw the divinyls in Perth in 1988" When I DJed fetish and swingers parties in London in the late 90s, early 00s, a certain Divinyls song was always on the list..I'm sure you can figure which one and why.

"Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (especially their Howl album), Au Revoir Simone, Drugstore, The Be Good Tanyas, Mazzy Star, Hellsongs, Morphine, Cop Shoot Cop, Gomez, Royal Trux, Black Box Recorder, Hanoi Rocks" Hanoi!! I DJed for them when they reformed in 2002 and played the Camden Palace (aka Koko) Another band who inspired my dress sense and lifestyle for years, much like the Dolls, Suede and the early Manics.

"The Cadillac Three - "Dang If We Didn't" Great catchy Southern rock! Put your top over ya head & dance round the table or couch or what ever....whilst the kettle warms up! Video is funny too (see below.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUTFXgAhdvo&list=PLB56OTZj19xQV7dHpQwyXJT5T9G7za1Xj The Cadillac Three - "Take Me To The Bottom". Great soulful chill out track with decent lyrics too.... "Hold me down, down, down, down, down Fill me up, girl, let me drown, If you want my heart, If you want my soul, You gotta take me to the bottom, ...." Here's the link with lyrics:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKRuToJPITc&list=RDkKRuToJPITc&start_radio=1 " If you like your Southern rock, try Drive By Truckers, or some stuff by Moonshine Bandits
