I was a singer in a band for years. Travelled all over the place. People always seemed to like it and told me I was good. Still cringe every time I hear my voice on recordings or videos... Although I can talk all day so.... Maybe I do like it after all ha ha

I really feel like I should type no but in all honesty, I like how it sounds when I say certain things, the contrast between the filth and my voice is hot. I think that my voice can be a bit grating but it suits me well because I can be also. Generally though, I quite like it. At work I've never had an issue with getting people to listen to me (men) and I think that's in part due to my voice.

*one day I will reply with a sentence. One.

I'd rather be a news broadcaster than Paul Hogan or Steve Irwin (if we're going to go with Australians people know with accents like mine - Adam Hills)

Reading you say the contrast between the filth and your voice has reminded me of when my man said that the way I tell him to “fuck me harder” is such a turn on because I say it in a soft and innocent way. It’s not deliberate... just how it comes out in the moment.

When I'm actually speaking, I like it, lots. Thanks to the wonders of science we all sound pretty awesome and badass in our own heads, with epic voices thanks to the bone conduction enhancing the low frequency vibrations.

In reality and in recordings (and to everyone else) I sound like an annoying fool so therefore I hate my voice.

It often works the opposite for me. I always think I sound deep for a woman and hear recordings and still hate it but realise I don't actually sound deep .

Did you know that we never really hear our own voice like other people hear it. This is because of the echo in our mouth goes straight to our ears.

The only way is to record our voice and listen it back

I think we're life's great wafflers, why say one sentence when we can happily ramble on about every thing relating to our conversational topic?

Louanna that juxtaposition is definitely a thing! Like when a man gruffly says "fuck I love you" and it sends shivers down your spine. You really should upload a voice thingeymabob because a soft Manc accent sounds lovely! x
