Marital breakdown, alcoholic suicidal estranged husband, small child and a full time job. The lack sex was not high on my list of problems...

These days my sex drive varies and not having sex never impacts on my ability to function.

In my adult life I have never gone more than 5 or 6 days . I think it’s only been once it has been that long.

Normally can go six months without wanking. I've got other stuff going on in RL so wanking isn't high on my agenda. If you go long enough your body will sort itself out via a wet dream anyway.

I know what you mean though OP. Every 2 or 3 years I get a manic faze where sex (hypersexuality) consumes me for a month or two - pleasant and not pleasant at the same time.
