Than a perfect avocado? More often than not they're rock hard or brown mush. I found one I'd forgotten about, felt too mushy from the outside, but it's the most beautiful thing I think I'll see all day. Sorry ladies, but you can't compete with good avocado.

Probably not, nowhere near the same potassium content.

It's nail biting opening one up, then a giddy thrill when it's good.

Got to be something powerful to contrast the mellow creaminess. Marmite is my go to, but I sometimes just eat it from the skin, splash of Worcester sauce, pepper, olive oil. Oof.

Breakfast makes me horny. Not much more to it really.

Well, more horngry, I suppose. The shimmering glisten of crispy bacon... The sultry ooze of a well fried egg...

You don't get a body like this without frying things in butter.

Very timely post! I have just eaten half of a perfect one now. Sliced, and tucked into fresh bread with hummus.

Keeping the other half for later...stone hole will be filled with extra virgin and a splash of balsamic

Christ, that is great. But it's always going to be great - there's not the same elation of finding your fickle avo is perfect.

I get that - can't be dealing with soft, mealy apples. Got to be crisp & juicy.
