Not the same really. I think it's a dying art. Lots abroad though but can't seem to find any in the Midlands although we would be willing to travel

google midlands burlesque.

they have put on shows in telford and birmingham,

a decent fun night out.

there was also a show recently at the place in telford, but not sure how it went, or if there will be a repeat.

i used to be on a car forum with a woman that was downtrodden by her ex husband and used burlesque to come out from herself.

went to a show when she came up from south wales and she was such a liberated woman. strong and self confident.

some people put it down as lewd and filth, but i tell you what, if something like that can give a woman that was systematically beaten, and mentally tortured by the man that was supposed to protect her from the bad things in life, the confidence and self belief that i saw in her, then im all for it, and all power to the women, and men, that do it, and get involved.
