Would you help a stranger physically put a mask on?

If I saw someone struggling it would be instinct for me to help but obviously I’d be careful not to touch them

Why would they need help? I'm not sure I would feel comfortable doing it at the moment but I don't like seeing people struggle.

There are ways you can help, you don’t need to be facing them. You can stand behind them, have them hold the mask on their face and you just slip the holds on their ears, then talk them through adjusting if needed

I carry alcohol gel when out walking dogs, or going to shops. So would probably help, use sanitizer before and after.

I've helped a few people I've seen struggle in different ways these past few months. Was it the right thing to do? I'm not sure. In hindsight would I have walked on by? Definitely not.

That goes against 2m distancing and physical contact is involved.

My arms are longer than a metreand the touch will be limited to just brushing their ears, with wearing my own mask and hand sanitizer on. The limited contact is worth it to help someone

I carry alcohol gel and gloves pretty much all the time so I'd probably try to talk them through it and help them indirectly first (offer them an arm to steady them, hold shopping bags etc.) but then yes, I would help them.
