A world of my own

It seems that most people on here know each other/have met at socials before. I hope to be going to the Halloween Barnsley do and I only know one person who may or may not be there, and I have to say that although I am looking forwaard to meeting lots of new folks I'm also going to be very very nervous...

Will there be anyone else there who hasn't been before?

well we went the first one but we will be sure to look out for you and say hi.

dont be nervous its a really friendly lot who attend who will be sure to put you at your ease.

anyhow you will see us parked outside in our van so be sure to knock on the door and introduce yaself

The first time we ver went to a social I could'nt move from the spot with nerves but I have to say everyone was really friendly and loads came over to chat to us

I still get nervous now but am happy to wander around and chat to everyone and make a point of chatting to anyone thats on their own as I know they're probably nervous too.........well no-ones told me to F off and leave then alone yet

Ull be fine hun, the last Barnsley one was my very first social plus i met someone for the very first time after chatting for so long (yes u know who u r) and after a few vodkas i was pissed ahem i mean fine hehe ignore me honest ull be fine

The last Barnsley social was also my first...and I only knew two people before I went...but had a great night...got to meet loads from the forums, got quite friendly with one or two and am so looking forward to Halloween. Just relax hun, you'll have a great time I'm sure

we went to the first one and met some really nice people, compaired to some meets where alot of clicky going on...

you will be looked after by your hosts and your guests...

just be yourself and enjoy...
