I've recently started Couch to 5K.

Was really hard to begin with as I hadn't run for years, but now I'm doing 20mins with no break and funding it relatively easy.

Feels good.

Strava is massive now, and free too bit you can pay subs for extra data, I've been on it years mainly for my cycling

I run around 20/25k per week. In the woods, on the beach and today in the mountains. I had an idea that I might increase my distances but actually I find my body just prefers a few shorter runs a week on varied terrain. Love it!

Nice one op. Don’t worry about distance just keep running 3-4 times a week if possible , distance and pace develops quickly.

My favourites are a fast 5k race with younger/faster people to push me , I’m currently at 21:13 was hoping to break 21 this year. Also love a nice long slow jog, 10 miles around 5am by myself with a good audiobook

I'm a keen runner, multiple marathons completed but loving having nothing to train for and just hitting the trails for fun at the moment. Also managed a 5km PB last week which was satisfying. I completed a virtual 24 hour race over the solstice weekend, a run on the hour every hour for 24 hours which was interesting to say the least and got a 7 day virtual race ar the end of the month

I'd like to say the same but weather has been relatively kind over lock down. If working in the office returns then I'd have less time in the day. I only do short bursts of running daily but found it to help psychologically but also with getting rid of stubborn body fat which I had never managed to shift until now. I will aim to run at least once or twice a week from now on combined with activities like boxing when that's possible again.

Yeah, love it. It's addictive just like cycling.. Which I also love.

Once you start to push your body it wants more. Enjoy it and stick with it. If you don't already, grab yourself a bike and start cycling too. They work out different muscle groups but really compliment each other. Also, they say that one hour if cycling adds one hour to your life expectancy.. so more time to shag!

Went out much earlier today for a 5k. Cool. But humidity was off the charts came back looking like I had been running in the rain I was sweating that much. Not a good look lol.
