1) to see the northern lights. I was in Iceland in October with work years ago and thought I'd be sure to see them, but every night it just got more and more cloudy.

I did love Iceland but not been back since. I did look at a cruise where they would chase the lights down. I hate cruising, but that seems the best way to guarantee seeing them, so maybe in future I'll book one.
