Recently watched the film and series of This Is England again, some of the best British drama I've ever seen. Have you watched it, what did you think?

He did a great job playing Cassidy.

Have you read the books of preacher? Incredible even better than the series.

It's on the list. Going to get an Amazon free trial. Really enjoyed Last Kingdom, I'm sure Vikings will not disappoint.

Paddy Considine is brilliant in both these films( esp. RfRB) ...Romeo Brass doesn't get shown that much in comparison with the other two but its one of ma favourite films ...also prime slices of English social drama in Mike Leighs Naked ... or the earlier Meantime ( forget Quadrophenia n check out this classic Phil Daniels role " yoo Muppet!") ...

I loved "This Is England" when I first saw it. As I hung around with mods and non-racist skinheads in the early 80s, it kind of brought back some of that time to me, with fond memories.

The end, scene (movie) was a bit much for me, brilliantly done but triggered some stuff. Even second time watching. Much preferred dead mans shoes.
