What trusty ingredients do you alway keep in the cupboard in order to make a fast tasty meal?

Me..usually, rice tuna soy sauce paparika and red onion.

I'm looking for inspiration for dinner...if your offering even better

.

Arborio rice, a good stock, cheese and decent butter (the latter are in the fridge but similarish). You can make such a good risotto quite easily with relatively few ingredients.

Oh and good noodles for a nice ramen.

Rice, pasta, potatoes, lentils, chopped tomatoes, tofu and a selection of veggies. Of course we have tonnes of other meals too, but these are great staples to use in a pinch.

Good ramen is a bit of work, but worth it. Quick and dirty ramen can made instant noodles, boiled egg, cooked meat/chicken, siracha, soy sauce and a little seasame oil if you have it.

Siracha (Googled it) a hot sauce. I like my food to have a bit of a kick and I'm a fan of soy sauce. I might enjoy this.

Quick and dirty, I'm a fan of that too

I sometimes do this with micro Salmon. 3 mins and it's ready!

Pasta, tinned tomatoes, tinned beans (any will work but I normally have black beans, cannelini beans, butter beans, kidneys beans and sweetcorn), tins of tuna, couscous, loads of dried herbs and spices, eggs.

I can pull together any number of different meals using that as a base.

I get through lots of eggs and I do like an omelette. I've never cooked paella...or even a prawn!

I had new potatoes which I'd cooked yesterday and roasted them with veg...no meat but is was still tasty...thanks

I need to be a bit more adventurous and I love beans. It just struck me that I don't cook with them much.

Stock cubes, aldi risotto packets, fresh chilli, garlic paste, condensed mushroom soup, instant noodles (plain).

Can usually whip up something half decent in an emergency with those and some kind of meat and whatever’s in the fridge.
