To be honest not missed anything really as life here in the middle of nowhere continued much the same as normal which is great and we mostly just chilled.

Lucky really.

But because of these being cancelled we have made major home improvements whilst still both working full time. We’ve now got a new bathroom so losing some things but gaining others

Missed my family and friends.

Had to cancel my lil ones birthday party with her friends and then postpone her holiday with my parents until next year, part of her birthday present. She’s been very mature about it though. Nine years old and more pragmatic than a lot of adults.

Download.

More work on my back piece, obviously cancelled.

Photo shoots.

World domination- having to postpone that one for a bit. Looking like October time now.

3 Fab weekends away, plus more that we would have arranged afterwards. My dance troupes annual show, plus just dancing with my friends every week and costume making. An incentive trip with work. A stay in a lovely mansion with some of my girly friends.

But I see it as just a postponement of these things - I'll do them all at some point when we're able to. I'm lucky enough to have worked all the way through (albeit from home which I don't particularly enjoy), and me and everyone I know have their health - I'll postpone any number of things for that to remain the case.

"Seeing my nephew take his first steps

It wasn’t guaranteed that I’d have been there on the specific day it happened, lockdown or not. But he’s only a baby and I went 5 months without seeing him. A lot changes in 5 months at that age ...

I’ll make up for it now though. Extra cuddles and presents.

They are actually quite efficient at grooming themselves and because they are all one family, they groom each other as well but more often than not, that turns into a fight They go to a groomers twice a year to have their trousers trimmed though

Wirral

Couple of work trips I didn't want to go on, and a marathon swim. The swim will still go ahead, but after 4 months without swimming at all I won't be in any fit condition to do it.

Neither are any huge loss.

I missed my mum's 70th birthday, and that was hugely disappointing. We'll do something when we can, but its not the same.

Weekly board game nights.

A board game convention in August that's been cancelled.

A holiday I was planning to book for later in the year but didn't, and now can't afford anyway due to being furloughed.
