"Tried sleeping ... albeit unsuccessfully. It evades me. So, helloooooooo beauts! Evening... It is VERY quiet tonight... I think Jim has popped for a SDW I've been PMing. You can do that and have a SDW at the same time. Muti-tasking! I don't use my tablet or phone in the bathroom. What sort of man do you think I am?! Not one to use electronics in the bathroom! Health and safety first clearly, that kind " | |||

I once took my dogs camping in a tent... It was a complete disaster
Tell us please "Hmm.. So there are two stories (clearly an optimist) 1) me and my then husband thought it would be fun to take our 2 dogs away for the weekend, have romantic walks, alll sleep together, folick at breakfast time Doesn't it sound romantic! The reality... The 2 dogs were mid-thigh height.. Oh they were also crazy rescue dogs. The tent was TINY.. Tiny!! There were loads of midges so we had to go to bed earlier than planned to stop being the buffet The dogs didn't understand the concept of a tent and kept walking into to sides, trying to get out - putting their heads down amd pushing as hard as they could on the canvass we spent all night dragging them back to bed in fear that the tent was going to give way
Needless to say we were awake VERY early and ended up giving all our breakfast to the dogs to placate them whilst we collapsed the tent and packed the car | |||

I can recommend putting your phone into a ziplock bag if you need to errr video something in the bathroom "Good advice. | |||

I can recommend putting your phone into a ziplock bag if you need to errr video something in the bathroom
What do you get up to in your bathroom other then the obvious lol

We arrived at a camp site in the pitch blackness of night
We parked up and proceeded to try and put up our mates tent in the dark. We hadn't listened to his thorough training, 'cos we were young and knew it all
As we unwrapped everything it started to pour down
So we were tired, wet, cold, clueless
We get it half up but cannot figure the rest of it out so decide to sleep in it as it was. We strip off and within 10 mins we are drenched as the rain streams into the tent
Thoroughly miserable and rowing about whose stupid idea camping is, we climb into Kevin's astra hatchback and lie wide awake listening to the rain hammering on the metal
At about 5am the rain stops and it is getting light. We are like two beleaguered refugees when we stagger out to survey the carnage
The caravan opposite came out with two hot teas having laughed their arses off at our antics through the night.
We'd packed up and left by 7am | |||

I used to walk as a barmaid in my college years and my bf, lets call him kevin, arranged to pick me up after last orders (crikey showing my age now... Yes the pub used to close lol) I lived in york at the time, so off we set for the lake district at midnight
We arrived at a camp site in the pitch blackness of night
We parked up and proceeded to try and put up our mates tent in the dark. We hadn't listened to his thorough training, 'cos we were young and knew it all
As we unwrapped everything it started to pour down
So we were tired, wet, cold, clueless
We get it half up but cannot figure the rest of it out so decide to sleep in it as it was. We strip off and within 10 mins we are drenched as the rain streams into the tent
Thoroughly miserable and rowing about whose stupid idea camping is, we climb into Kevin's astra hatchback and lie wide awake listening to the rain hammering on the metal

Yeah us two. We had a nice Hotel booked for our joint 50th Birthday. Only 3 weeks apart
