There are 4 preferences to choose from. Straight, Bisexual, Bicurious, Gay.

I chose Bicurious but prefer women. I've been to clubs and the guys wait all night for any women, and after 2 or 3 hours we generally fondle each other and suck each other off. I know that when I put Bisexual in my profile I received a flood of private messages (average 60 per day) so I changed it to Bicurious and now recieve about 20 per day.

I think there are 3 main reasons why Bicurious and Bisexual men put Straight on their profile.

1. They want to convince themselves they are straight.

2. They are in principle straight but they also have a deep curious feeling to know what it's like to suck someone off and would probably do it if the occasion was right, but they aren't sure if they would before it actually happens, so they would rather call themselves straight instead of bicurious because they themselves don't know what they would honestly do if their hormones got out of control and they did things they never thought they would.

3. They say they're straight in case they are recognized and their private desires are exposed and they don't want to feel embarrassed by publically admitting their sexual desires for both men and women because a lot of guys want to behave like the Alpha male, and don't want anything to jeopordize their Alpha status to their friends by admitting their bicurious lust for both men and women, and maybe deep down they want to keep it a secret even to themselves and only share their deepest desires when they are engaged in sex and only then do they reveal their real sexual desire.

Personally I say, just be yourself. I've been with men and women (mostly married couples) and I allow them to make their move on me first, with a mutual understanding of where it is leading to.

From what I've seen so far it just seems like (yet another) catch-22 for men on this site. I've seen a few profiles from women and couples who say "no bisexual men" or "no 'fab-straight' men - real straight only" and even stuff like "any hint on your profile like veris from men or interests in pegging etc and it's a auto delete/block".

However, I've more often seen from women and couples profiles "no straight men - MUST be bisexual" or "no 'fab-straight' men - fully bi only" and "being straight is auto delete/block" etc.

So on one hand I'm like "why lie about it? Just own who / what you are and find the right matches for you". But then on the other hand, after seeing so many profiles being so judgemental I kinda think "well no wonder so many men feel like they have to lie about it". I've seen a couple of threads asking about giving more options for sexuality or similar in order to takle or solve this problem, but the real solution is to get rid of the stigma.

I'm straight so I put straight. If I wanted to meet a couple no point pretending like I'm bi and then mid-flow ruining the moment / evening by recoiling / rejecting from the guy's advances. Everyone should just be honest and open and upfront so we're all on the same page in order to relax and have fun. I mean, that's the whole point of swinging, isn't it? To have nice, relaxing and fun experiences?
