I know it wasn't all rosey but the summers seemed to last for ever and we had very little cares in the world.

So feel free to post anything retro that brings the memories flooding back.

Food, games, tv programmes, drinks anything and everything

Curly wurly to the one that makes me smile most.

School summer holidays

A few of you crowded around a BBC or Spectrum computer arguing about who's turn is it next. With an adult trying to get you all to go outside in the sunshine

To be honest given the rubbish air heating we had not waking up with ice on the inside of the windows was a blessing, but there was a big field at the back so loads of room to kick a ball around and even hit a seven iron, being light till gone 9 was great for that

Making cassette tapes from my northern soul records for a girl I fancied at school

Not too retro but I still love CD's. I was laughed at with my first car having a cassette player and now I had that my new car has no CD player,

I miss recording the Top 40 and trying to make sure I don't get the talking at the start and end.

I also miss riding, building and selling BMX bikes and doing tricks.
