I know a mate who's having this what's involved she has cancer down there already had a fallopian tube removed says shes having her cervix removed and it's not terminal hows sex going to be afterwards for her is it contagious thanks for ur replies x

its so sad my husbands uncle died at 36 from throat cancer

My husband was there as he took his last breath and said he will always remember it

Worst part is his uncle say he had cancer and for 4 years tried to convince the hospital he had it but they told him it was all in his head

By the time they found it it was too late

Also if they found it when he told them he had it he would have lived

I had a total hysterectomy last March - absolutely everything was removed for various reasons. It was a life changer. Sex is great when I’m in the mood.

majority of men recoiled in horror when they found out, touching my cancerous breasticles was the last thing they wanted to do! Thank fuck!

I had a hysterectomy 9 years ago for the same reasons .

When the cervix is removed sex is painful afterwards, the cervix is removed so the only way I can describe it is like banging against a brick wall as the cervix is no longer there lol

I used to enjoy bigger guys but not now as its too painful

btw Cant believe at 41 you are asking if cancer is contagious

Sorry to hear about the cancer hope she is ok but as for the Hesterectomy think of it as she has had the baby factory removed but the play pen is still there.

My ex wife had a Hesterectomy and from my point of view of sex it made no difference, but the woman with have hormonal changes for which they take hormone replacement tablets she may loose the desire for sex as my ex wife did.

I am no expert and a woman who has been through this is probably better at answering your question.

It can depend how the surgeon does the operation as there are several options. I had my cervix removed athough the way they had planned to do the operation changed part way though. The scar has healed but although still visible no-one comments. I now have and enjoy sex more than ever. The NHS website is a good source of information as is the hystersisters site. I hope your mate recovers quickly x

Its actually more fun because you don't have the added worry of pregnancy or have to a stein once a month.

Sexually as my FB has said its made no difference in actual fact I think it's heightened my sex drive
