I was out shopping earlier and was walking through the town when I heard someone in a car beep their horn and shout “FATTY”. Carried on walking and he beeped and waved at me and again shouted the same word. What a complete arsehole, I wasn’t feeling good as it was but, that just made me feel worse.

Do people really think that’s acceptable. Doesn’t matter what I think of how someone looks I wouldn’t shout and abuse them because it makes me feel good. Sorry rant over x

I cannot understand the complete lack of empathy behind this behavoir. I've learnt the drive to say unkind things about others is pretty universal, the only difference between people is the degree of bad mood/anger/disgust they need to be feeling before they say unkind things. To be so unaware of another's feelings to be unkind for absolutely no reason though is pretty far along the spectrum.

Unfortuneately there has always been people like that about, no respect for others like the guy this morning who just went straight up to the co-op took a basket and went straight Inside where there is a waiting and distance system in use due to covid thou he,s not the first I,ve seen do this..

I usually get slut, slag or freak, because I’ll be dressed differently to others. Made me laugh as I used to be covered head to foot, was married to the man who had taken my virginity and was faithful to him, but because it was alt gear it made me fair game apparently. Daft buggers!

It’s obviously going to upset you lovely, but try to dismiss it from your mind and give it no further thought. People who are mean tend to be insecure about aspects of their own life or appearance, and so attack others. They lack empathy and the personal insight to see their behaviour as abhorrent. I know it's easier said than done, but try to let it go, you'll never know why and he doesn't deserve any more of your attention.

In the area I used to live a girl had a flat above a shop I used to walk past every day. She took to hanging out of her window to shout "FAT SLAAAG" as I walked past. Every single day, most times twice a day.

I realised if I didn't react at all then there was no attention on me, everyone was too busy looking to see who was doing all the shouting (when I didn't react she got louder and more shrill).

It got me to the point where it really made me smile, knowing my lack of reaction bothered her far more than her screeching bothered me.

I've still no idea what prompted it though, to the best of my knowledge we'd never met or spoken until she decided to start shouting! Some people are just human wasps I guess, lacking real purpose and stinging at random.

One of the few times I ran in a village some guys shouting fat bitch from their car. I was devastated, sat in my car for ages and cried. Some individuals try to feel happy by making someone else feel shit. Their temporary feelings of superiority numb their chronic feeling of worthlessness. They loathe themselves so much that they project that self loathing onto others. I often wonder what has happened in their life for them to hate themselves so much that they feel that by denigrating, criticising, insulting and hurting others, will make them feel better. The reality is it doesn’t as it just adds to their repressed feelings and self-loathing.

I dint know why we get upset by total strangers spewing insults at us but we do. Anything that makes you look different to the next person seems to warrant this behaviour atm. Big man drives past in car and shouts something. Just remember, they don’t know you and pity them. Keep being the person you are.

In no way is such behaviour acceptable in fact it reprehensible. You should have noted the number plate and reported the idiot. If nothing more the law could warn him that future conduct could land him in trouble.

A little secret share. One of my friends at school was bullied to death. When he died. I hardened and vowed I would never be bullied again. That vow has changed my life so much. Because I'm free. I'm free to do what I want when I want without fear.
