Mask banks

I’ve just bought 4 masks for £8, which I thought was bit of a piss take. Do you think there should be mask banks for the poorest and most Vulnerable in society, cause it’s most likely that these are the people they would be most affected by covid, or do think everyone should have to buy their own masks no matter if they’re on the breadline ?!

It's easy to make your own using old bedding or clothing, or even a scarf or bandana tied around your face is acceptable, it doesn't have to be a mask

I think that's a great idea. So many companies are making a killing on the advice to wear masks and it's pricing out the most vulnerable people in society.

My company have given me shit loads, probably because they're stressed about legal actions, but you're right it's not a fashion statement it's just summat to cover your gob innit, so yeah anything can be effective....

A bout four months ago our local government gave us two per person free of charge so I think your government should give them out free to the poor and needy.

If we're gonna have to wear them when we go in shops soon, then I'll buy one that I can wash and reuse, currently I get a disposable one when I pass through the DRI which is right behind my flat

Bought N95 types when i heard of the problem in China and Spain wasnt rocket science to realise it would hit the uk

Now got Lacoste face masks which are washable

True. We haven’t bought masks, we are just using bandanas and scarfs

You say that but it could become a fashion statement for the younger ones, which I don’t mind if they get into the habit of wearing them. My lad has his eye on masks that come with different mouths on them
