So, I know this is a swinging website but there are so many of us who only show our best bits (and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that) but I thought it would be refreshing for some of us to show the bits we aren't totally comfortable with.

I've seen and spoken to many on here who admit to covering or hiding away those bits they don't like as they're unsure of the response they will receive when people see the parts of them they dislike so much, but I want you to be brave and show us so we can appreciate the real parts of your body that make you who you are.

So, if it is scars, stretch marks, a mummy tummy, rolls or cellulite, get it out for Fab and remember that your body doesn't define YOU ladies and gents.

I've started with a picture of my mum tum as I never take photos in direct light that really show the texture of my skin properly on my stomach.

I always worry about photos hiding me and then people being disappointed. I always look alright in the photo because everything is in place but once you've got me moving I jiggle and get rolls but I never show that side. I want to get a little braver with my pictures though. I usually avoid posting a picture if I have a roll somewhere, but I just want the attitude of fuck it, it's my body. I'm going to own it.

I have a birthmark that is fairly easy recognised so that likely won't make a public appearance.

Also have some scars on my back that are extremely easy to hide (and naturally often seem faded on photos) but definitely do cause some self conscious mindsets. Will try and see if I can get them to show on a pic.

It’s how it started people saying oh you look so toned from just a photo, but I know I’m not as everything moves, rolls and alike and that is the reality in person, unless I don’t move haha.

Only you can say fuck it this is me, as it is your body and it’s your mindset that gets you there. No matter how nice it is to hear people saying oh I love your body, it’s so sexy, rolls and all, it means nothing if you don’t feel it. You will find it one day

Great thread. Well done everyone who's posted a pic or video. It's a gutsy thing to do ... and you all look great!

We're often far more critical of our own looks than others who see us as we are. Beauty comes in all colours, shapes, sizes and ages. And, after all, attractiveness is so much more than just how we look.

It's been absolutely lovely so far. And it really does take courage and I feel proud of people for taking the step to share their bodies with all of us. I've had a few private messages too from members showing me their bits and telling stories. It's amazing.

For me it's not so much a specific part of my body (apart from my penis of course, as it's not 9" of throbbing gristle!) but rather just sometimes feeling a bit foolish trying to be 'sexy'in general. As a man in his 50s it's very easy to feel like you're making a twat of yourself. Factor in that I tend not to be the most serious person and try to see the humour in most situations, it ends up feeling like you're starring in your own Victoria Wood sketch about swingers.

What a brilliant thread, Lemon, love this! I've put a photo I'm very self-conscious about as our profile pic. Funnily enough it's one of Mr's favourites as he says it shows me in all my glory but in photo terms I'm usually happier with some of that glory being strategically hidden!

There and to the left a bit

Well if it's good enough for the (mostly) ladies that have posted then it's good enough for me - unfiltered, just taken, my stomach in all it's "glory" - lockdown and lack of gym has taken it's toll and pushed it back to where I was moving away from before but it's me and part of who I am and that is something I can't hide

ive said it before with mum tums and ill say it again, I am a very appreciative man of a mum tum as there is nothing more beautiful in this world than the little people we create and a mum tum comes with that.

Amazing thread Lemon we should all learn to love ourselves a little more, smile and be happy Xx

I think you've just got to push past that feeling like a twat mindset because is anyone actually going to think that apart from you? And if people do think it, that's more about them than you and they aren't worth it anyway.

I'm attracted to men who are older than my dad would be if he was still alive at the end of the day, age is just a number and it definitely doesn't stop you being sexy.

Hi Op. Be assured your body is beautiful. Stretchmarks following childbirth are a tiny sacrifice women make for a lifetime of beautiful memories with their children. Scars, stretchmarks and flab do not define a person and I myself have learned that it's okay not to be perfect. I had to have surgery on my right breast as a young woman and I have a scar which I'm quite conscious of. Most of my "boob pics" just show the left boob but, when I am brave, I show both. I've had quite a few horrible comments over time about the one boob pic, but these people do not understand why I do it!

We should all embrace our bodies, scars and all as it's the most amazing thing we ever own.

"So, I know this is a swinging website but there are so many of us who only show our best bits (and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that) but I thought it would be refreshing for some of us to show the bits we aren't totally comfortable with.

Great thread, Lemon.

Mine would probably be one of my big round head, or a full frontal, or one where you can see some fuzzy rolls & featuring more peen than is publicly acceptable, even here (that one's staying hidden in friends only ).

I feel like my DP qualifies though - I've been reluctant to take my top off in public for years & that was one of the first nudes I took in an effort to feel better about my body.

It's a constant battle for everyone & it's good to be reminded of that - especially when it brings out so much support for one another. Well done everyone - love yourselves.

I'm happy you have moments where you feel brave enough to show the world. It's nothing to be ashamed of and doesn't take away from your beauty, just adds to it really.

Just uploaded a pic- will admit it’s unlikely to remain. I don’t like my tummy anyway, but today have had an IBS flare up so no amount of breathing in or clever camera angles can disguise it. Also just showing are my emergency surgery scars. They saved my life but also a reminder how close my girls were to losing their mummy, because I ignored the signs of sepsis within myself. The last time I was told I was told I risked hospitalisation, for ignoring my body telling me I was ill, I was threatened with ng feeding- hence my issue with any weight gain.

Recently been messaged to tell me I’m fat, and also hints that I’m punching above my weight with Inked as other women are more attractive, so this is a big thing for me- showing my tummy when my confidence isn’t as good as usual x But I’d still rather be fat than cruel and conceited x

I can't see the photo but even if you only put the photo up for 60 seconds it was still such a brave thing to do considering how you feel.

I know it's easy to get hung up on our weight but the scales don't measure your worth. And like you said, it's better to be overweight than be someone who gets off on bullying people. It genuinely saddens me that some people hate to see a normal body and expect us to hide away and not live our life until we look good enough for them. But fuck those people because they are so ugly inside and that is what truly matters.

I don't have the confidence to brave all, I hate parts of me so I wouldn't want to show them off. I have also seen the private messages of abuse that some ladies receive about their physical appearance. I know I wouldn't handle that very well so I just daren't do it.

The nasty comments say more about them though. I have experienced some awful abuse on here, in normal life and it has taken its toll but in the last few weeks I'm trying to accept the body I have. I have missed out on so much , for years I always quipped who I'm the fat funny one and do you know what the damage it has caused is unreal but I'm working on it. I listened to a podcast and the guy on it does motivational talks, worked with many irish sports people and he advised find a pic of you as a child when you are truly happy. And Everytime you think of a crappy comment etc look at that pic and remember you wouldn't tell it to a child so why tell yourself.

Welldone, takes courage to post this because of all the pressure women have from men, themselves and other women.

"Hi Op.

Thank you Dana! I'm sorry to hear people have made awful comments about your scar. But those kind of comments say so much more about them than they do you don't they? I'm happy you have moments where you feel brave enough to show the world. It's nothing to be ashamed of and doesn't take away from your beauty, just adds to it really. "

It does add to it

Here's mine. Rolls and back fat are probably my biggest insecurities and not helped by the fact my ribcage is bloody tiny. I've even managed to throw in a double chin for good measure

My scar is visible too but I've never really been insecure about that. Possibly because I don't remember any different.

On a mooch

Great to see this thread continuing this morning.

I know for some it’s been a big step to show their body insecurities publicly.

La la land

"Just uploaded a pic- will admit it’s unlikely to remain.

Viv x

"

Oh Viv, this made me well up. Understand some of what you are feeling, I nearly didn't take mine. My stomach is all swollen from a recent stint in hospital due to a miscarriage. And no angles or posing was going to cover the bloated thing it is. But you took the photo that's the main thing and in my opinion you are absolutely gorgeous. Look after yourself

It's equal parts saddening and reassuring to know that ladies I see as RIDICULOUSLY HOT see themselves as flawed. Sad because, well, stop it! You're amazing! Reassuring because maybe I'm overthinking things and everyone else is as forgiving of my ever-expanding, pendulous gut, cartoon hair, Hulk feet and facial scarring!

You are all awesome. I'll take a new pic on my lunch break

"I love this post.

I too have a massive ugly scar on my tummy that rubs from hip to almost hip. Then 2 much smaller ones. I never do naked because I'm so conscious of them and my big jelly belly.

You lot are amazing.

I totally agree. My stomachs a mess...... wish I had the confidence but there’s no way I could! "

Just looked at your pics - unless your stomach has a large tattoo of Jimmy Saville saying 'owz about that then guys n' galls' I don't think it could diminish how hot you look

Having worked with women who literally model for a living who don't want to show certain parts of themselves or focus immensely on the tiniest of flaws nobody else would ever notice, believe me we all have body hang ups. Also shh you're hot and your hair is awesome. Don't even know where to start on hulk feet. Are they green?

My bottom is a disgusting part of my body. It will be in my pictures. Please don't scream. That's if anyone actually takes any notice of me

It's really not

Mine looks like the surface of the moon if I stand at the wrong angle or clench my butt in bad lighting
