" Could be power steering pump pulley failing, possibly the belt starting to shred too. Does the noise/sound increase with engine revs or stay at a constant level?

Hi it’s a constant level, & even when the engine is switched off (coasting), it’s also noisy when the steering is turned left or right. We have recently moved, been recommended a local garage, they are going to check it tomorrow. Will report back with findings. Thanks for your help.
