Mine died (never a good sign)

Despite that initial set back, got to say all the docs at my surgery are lovely and I am quite happy to be seen by any of them - same with the nursing team.

So much so that they have my sisters address not mine as they don't cover the area in which I now live.

It's slightly out in the country and is all old fashioned woods and open counters as opposed to clinical 'windows' that you get in a lot of group practices.

I try and get there once a month, just so I can keep up with the headlines in Auto Express and Bella Magazine

If my doctor held my hands and rubbed them, I'd knock his fucking head off his shoulders.

Sounds very creepy and sleazy to me

It's only creepy and sleazy if you want to see it that way.

In times of hyper professionalism and over sensitivity, I applaud any doctor that shows compassion, understanding and a bit of human 'warmth' towards his or her patients.

Its funny cause the one i have is mid 50's and has a stern face, very old school dortor. But he knows my history and how to treat me. Most of my doctors have gone past the duty. My first here when i went into hospital rang me every single morning for five weeks

Southport

My doctor is great when my dad was dying he used to use pop round when on house calls to see how he was. He was also the one that came out when he had died. Since then he always asks how i'm coping and listens when I need to just chat. He never rushs me through the appointment

Very happy with our local surgery - really efficient and helpful. They know the difference between a problem and a crisis

she had psoriasis in her hair line and the doc turned round ad said 'hmmm we do need to het that sorted, you are not exactly looking your prettiest right now are you'

then this weekend she has bee doubled up with stomach cramps and the doc turned round and said 'i dont really deal with this sort of thing, you eed to book another appointment to see Dr so-and-so as he is the surgery specialist in this area'

Every time I went to see one, it is different to the last.

I can count the number of times I went to see one with one hand, excluding FPCs.
