"Smart scales are bullshit, body fat readings they give are nowhere near accurate. Calipers indicate my body fat around 19%. Smart scales have indicated as high as 33%. Hydration, when you last ate, need a wee, all massively affect these type of scales " Fat mass 22.6%, if I were a burger I was a shitty one!

"...and I learned that my BMI index is 25. I goggled it and I’m fat! Do you know anything about BMI index?" Really is that what you learned ?? What you should have learned Is If at 81 kg you have little muscle because you are sedentary You would be borderline healthy to slightly above This means If your sedentary without much muscle your health would statistically benefit from a tiny amount of fat reduction You should have also learned that if you train and have muscle you are indeed at a statistically healthy fat state and not overfat The facts are there and very simple to understand My BMI is 24.5 I'm less than 11 percent body fat I dont get the obsessed nature of trying to dis respect the BMI concept Is it to justify extra fat If you are comfortable carrying fat over and beyond statistical analysis that's fine BMI is pure statistics A simple guide for health Being a borderline is telling us nothing more or less than if you add more body fat than muscle from this point you may increase your risk of adverse health Or conversely if you lose a tiny tiny amount you may statistically have a more healthy future life It's really not rocket science It's an introduction to an education about being body aware Most of us who the BMI is not the best guide are usually nutritionally and exercise clue ed up and do not need the BMI It's for the mainly sedentary as a bench mark Tsk ![]() ![]() ![]()

"Its okay as a guide, obviously if you have muscle it weighs more then fat. Take it with a pinch of salt and use common sense by looking down ![]() ![]() Muscle weighs the same as fat, it’s just more dense meaning it takes up less space!
