Night terrors are back

16 years I've had them, I've tried all the drugs going, well prescribed anyway and won't even think of illegal stuff, every night now, and most nights I can be 3 or 4 different attacks, does anyone else here suffer can anyone help me please I've just about had enough now.

Maybe if these stem from a specific time or event you need to get help dealing with that rather than try to stop them happening with medication.

Perhaps a counsellor or psychologist could help if there is a reason you know they are happening.

I had these once when I was pretty ill and had a breakdown, they were exhausting and I'm glad they were short lived.

I saw a program on this where someone had specialist treatment in Papworth. Hope you get it sorted.

The treatment depends on the cause of the nightmares, mine are from traumatic events so I underwent EMDR therapy which helped a lot OP.

You could speak to your GP they may be able to refer you to a team for specialist help.
