Walking down the only road I've ever known!

I was watching it from my bed as I was ill.

Playing cricket at Appleby.

We were getting humiliated and the heavens opened. Wicket was flooded, game abandoned.

So did the English thing and went to the pub . Rest of Cumbria was baking hot , it was a rouge shower .

There's nothing wrong about feeling older at least you actually experienced it in many ways I wish I actually saw Queen live

I watched a prog about it last night. Made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

I was stacking shelves in Sainsbury’s... Then everyone was having parties in the evening, huge hang over followed by 7s in the shadows of Windsor Castle the next day.

I remember being in my grandparents house watching it with my family. We recorded it on VHS and I watched it over and over. I remember that I couldn't wait for Queen to come on stage.

I was doing the same. Only 4 channels and one TV then - so we all sat down and watched it together. I remember my dad rolling his eyes at all the New Romantics!

Coventry

Was watching it most of the day, I was 27 (just worked it out!).

It was fading fast, lack of organisation and protocol. Then on came Queen.

They saved the day. Magnificent.

I was about 12 and it was school sports day so we couldn't watch a lot of it. Several kids were a bit miffed about that.

I mentioned Live Aid in a conversation once with somebody in his early 20s and he asked me what was. I explained and said it was watched by an estimated one billion people. He asked "We're they all there or was it on telly?"

My Own Little World

I was there, directly in front of the huge speaker on the right about 30ft back. Still have my ticket somewhere.

I only went to see Duran Duran... yes I know but I was a kid, but it turned out they were in Philly, very disappointed.

Was 1 of the best days I've had, watch it whenever they show it on the TV.

My son gets a bit prissy when he watches Bohemian Rapsody and I point out every single bloody time ' I was there'.
