Not this weekend but I love a good road trip.

With an open road, the right scenery and the right music

I’ll be on my motorbike on Tuesday for a bit of a road trip, just a few days away. Much better than driving as you really feel like you’ve actually been part of the journey once you’ve arrived.

Aberdeen, Leeds, Sheffield

You must have had a pretty good run to do 700 miles in 10 hours, especially in the south west. Better not ask how fast you were going

I used to enjoy driving down to Cornwall, nowadays it's a chore - too many neanderthals (usually short/bald) trying to get in front of you,at any cost

Sounds awful - couldn’t think of anything worse! Makes me sooo sleepy!

As for Cornwall - it’s beautiful. I often try find AirBnB’s & just go on random weekends. It’s my little ‘stress-relief’ as everything is just relaxing.

Weekend of paddle boarding & sunset nights.

I love driving, especially where I live. Get out on to the open country roads and it's fantastic. Freedom and space with stunning views, and not much traffic. Motorcyclists come from miles away to drive on the roads around us.

I need to drop my MX5 sports car back to the UK from my villa in Spain. So a two day journey through Spain and France, with an overnight stay in a pension.

Anyone like to join me on a road trip? Fly to Alicante and drive back?

Ross x

Neither had I until recently - was a last minute booking & I actually rather enjoyed it (snowboarder) so it wasn’t too hard - but quite therapeutic. I believe I paid £20 for 2 hours?
