Now I've just had my first ever can of Red Bull ever .

Why ?? I forgot I'd run out of coffee so thought I'd just try one this morning .

Two points here .

Firstly I now feel as if all my teeth are going to fall out .

And secondly I think I'm diabetic.

My first and last ever one of those.

How the fuck do people drink these every day . I know people who drink 3 or 4 of these every day .

How the fuck are they still alive ??

Interestingly, some police forces recorded if juvenile arrests had been on the energy drinks the same way they record drugs and alcohol on suspects.....

Oh and I usually do at least a big can of red bull or monster before 11.

I like a can now and again but it’s more for the taste and if I know I need a bit of sugar. Caffeine is something that’s never directly effected me whereas I know a friend who’ll have 1 can and he’s bouncing off the walls then he generally has a come down. It’s crazy how different it can effect people

they are horrible I feel like my guts are rotting away when ever I’ve had one or even a tiny amount so just don’t touch them or any energy drinks. The smell to is fucking awful

Epehedrine stimulates the CNS and improves reaction times, can give increase in power output etc.

I've tried some from a former friend and wasn't impressed. Developed by a marketing company who basically hyped cheap shite that was addictive. People fell for it. Possibly 1 of the biggest scams. At least coffee costs a little more, with ethical wages paid to poor farmers.

Needing tons of caffeine? Buy in bulk as a pure substance and fix your own drinks.

A standard can of Red Bull contains 80mg of caffeine - less than a regular cup of coffee

A lot of the hysteria around do called energy drinks is based on heresay and misinformation

The biggest issue has generally been that they became very popular with kids and the combination of lots of sugar and caffeine (and most kids don't consume a lot of other caffeine laden drinks like coffee or regular tea) plus frequently little food was not good for their health or school behaviour

Given the rise in sugar free versions the sugar angle is less of an issue but health professionals do - and always have - recommended that kids' caffeine intake is restricted

Many of those who dislike energy drinks will happily guzzle 4 or 5 cups of coffee a day without bouncing off the walls

Ultimately it's down to personal preference - I don't drink coffee because I don't like the taste, not because of what is or isn't in it

Only time I touch the stuff ( and sugar free Red bull at that) is if I have a killer drive.... the 12-15 hour on my own type of drive and then it is max 2 cans and just turn the music up

When Vodka Red Bull was the weapon of choice on a night out out, I consumed 9 cans of the stuff. We fell out of a club (in Spain) at about 10:30 AM and decided the best route back to the apartment was via the mountain road at stupidly high speed. Over the course of the next 2 days my heart felt like it was going to beat itself straight out of the front of my chest and I didn't sleep, at all....

I have never touched the stuff since.
