A little village

... during lockdown? Either about yourself or others?

I’ve learned:

1. Having fun and spending quality time with loved ones doesn’t have to involve going out and/or spending money.

2. Zoom style pub quizzes with family / friends are really fun!

3. I’m very lucky to have a public sector job.

4. I’m a shitty home schooler with zero patience.

Disneyland

OP I was just saying that the other day to a good friend. Lockdown was/still is tough but helped me recognize things about myself too

Following your style:

1. I live and breathe routine

2. WFH is a nightmare! I miss the office

3. I haven’t been really enjoying “me” time before, that’s changed with lockdown. Now I go for long park or beach walks (recommended)

That’s just a few things I got to appreciate and learn during the past 4 months!

Spending time in a pub really is a waste of time

I love #3! This is my “go to” de stress too - walks in nature. I’d have chosen to do something that cost money before lockdown - like cinema or drinks out. But I know prefer the simpler things

Yes. I realised when it came down to it that I missed the social aspect of this only - which can be achieved in other ways! Even via Zoom

I think it was more enjoyable when there was less people around. I did most of the walks during lockdown. It did wonders! I think we get too busy working we forget to have a little fun and be happy
