Question for the guy's.

I know everyone has a different opinion on what is attractive, which is awesome and rightly so, but I'm going to stick to stereotypical trends here for simplicity (and putting facial looks to one side). So would you rather have:

A "poster girl" underwear/swimwear model. Slim size 6-10, modest boobs (say a B-D cup) and small pert bum. Fit and athletic. Looks great in a photo, firm and boney in bed.

A "girl next door", got a little weight and curves, busty with a big bum, size 12-16 with DD+ boobs and hips. She squishes and jiggles a bit in bed.

I can honestly say, I couldn't pick one or the other. Depends on how the person carries themselves, their personality always makes a difference to how attractive a woman is to me, rather than size, shape, age etc.

Completely agree with this. I can honestly say that the girls who have turned me on most in my life have been the ones who got in my head through their personality. Those girls weren't necessarily the most beautiful I've been with, but we've made great connections and had amazing sex.

Girl next door i did the whole chasing the "perfect 10" thing in high school and I realised 1 it mostly leads to frustration as I am not also a 10 but also alot of those model body type people as really obsessed with looks and dont have any real personality this is drawing from my own personal experiences

If i had to pick one then A for me, my type has always been model types but the older i get the less i want to date them, spent too much on wasted nights out as they are watching what they eat and drink.

Women are damn beautiful, and incredible no matter their body type. Slim women are gorgeous and shouldn't feel otherwise. Big women are gorgeous and shouldn't feel otherwise. And all those in the middle are gorgeous and shouldn't feel otherwise.

And men are the same.

Everyone likes what they like. Can we not just do what Mrs B suggests please and stop making each other feel like we aren't good enough? There is more than enough of that in the damn world.

All threads like this achieve is to annoy, anger and frustrate people. Its not even something that can bring about a healthy debate. Its straight up trying to make people feel either inadequate or self conscious which is bullying in a more mental capacity and should never be allowed to be on the forums at all.

Every single person is unique and different and thats what makes Fab great. Like has been said and said well if you click with somebody then you click and have the connection. Yes we all may have a type but no need to try and bully or single people out in a forum thread its just wrong and people should be ashamed if themselves.

I have a very good friend that is so angered by these things and this thread there in tears and so as a result without thinking about what people are posting and what impact it may have on others. Its things like this that cause people to leave this site. So im future rather than trying to compare body types maybe keep those thoughts to yourself because there are so many people fighting demons about there appearance and these have no place here

In all honesty the poster girl would hold almost zero interest for me (Luke), although not without exception. I know some incredibly beautiful women and I really don't fancy any of them.

I like a bit of a tummy, big thighs, muffin tops and the things that so many women hate. My favourite size is 14-16. I still find a size either side of that very sexy. Beyond that I'm more likely to find women on the larger side more attractive than those on the smaller side.

These things are just normal. Just as most men don't have a body like Vin Diesel, most women don't have a body like Kathy Ireland (sorry - a blast from the past there). An ordinary, average, normal woman's body is one of the sexiest things imaginable. I want an individual not a stereotype. I find scars lovely too. It's a sign of individuality and indications of the lives they have lived.

There's one Fab lady we know who has scars which she is nervous about others seeing, and complains about her shape. I sincerely hope I get to see her in all her glory one day because I bet she looks amazing!

To be fair, I'm a 12 and I'm carrying a bit of extra weight. It depends on your build really as I know other size 12s with little bodyfat.

The "girl next door" type. Looks wise, I prefer larger breast. Personality wise, I have found out that "poster girls" with a model's phisique and looks never resonate with me. Be it because of looks, interests and so on. While "girls next door"types often have interests that I share. Of course this is my subjective experience deducted from interacting with a very limited sample population of the two types.

I'm not a size 10 anymore (lockdown weight) but when I was, I was never classed as 'boney'

I've been every size between a 6 and a 16 over the years, some due to an eating disorder, some due to having children etc

My point is, my size, whatever it was at the time was never determined by how I wanted a guy to see me. I was who I was and am who I am. It's an ongoing battle for me to love my body and I, like many others have had to fight with society's idea of how a woman should look and the stereotypes, at every turn. Man, woman or alien, we should be building eachother up not saying one of the many body sizes and types is better than the other. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and hopefully that starts with the person's body that it is.

I agree - while there may well be *some* who see it as a meat market - suggesting that the site is "all" that way is, in my opinion, quite disrespectful to the many who get the site, how it works and see it as anything but a meat market - those who value dignity, trust and respect both for and from the people they meet.

Over the last 5 years I’ve lost 9 1/2 stone in weight. I’ve gone from one extreme to the other.... and you know what’s the most attractive to blokes .... my personality. Fair enough I have probably more body confidence now but even when I was bigger I was still the dirty little kinky thing I am today so it’s all about personality and personal preference I think. My husband has stuck with me through thick and thin literally and I think he prefers me where I am now... a sort of in the middle ... but if you asked a guy I’m sure they’d probably just say they’d prefer a girl with confidence and sexiness

I know there is a lot thats not right and is not acceptable but this is just on a whole different level though lets be honest. To catergorise in such a way is not right. I think what has upset everybody most is some of the threads that may upset are clearly titled as such so people stay away. The title was put to draw people in and as a result upset straight away which isnt right.

You know me im on my own journey and if i can make people happy, smile and giggle along the way then im happy. People ive become close to amd many i may have never spoken to have been so upset by feeling like there alianated because there not 1 of what is layed out as only 2 possible catagorise is completly wrong. Everybody is unique and thats it end of discussion really

So we have just had a very similar conversation away from here with some friends. And we concluded it absolutely depends on the person behind said figure. I (Mrs) am a size 14, g cup with plenty of jiggly bits. So I’m open to offers either way lol. But really I think people are willing to give it take on their ‘norm’ if the mind behind it is captivating enough x x

You can see that this has become a heated debate between people and some who have felt it has made them feel it is aimed at shaming them have asked for it to be removed yet you have allowed it to continue because you have a viewpoint that agrees with the OP?

If the shoe was on the other foot and you disagreed with the OP would your decision to let it run be any different?

Please notice I have not said anything from either side of the fence regarding this thread so my viewpoint is moot.

Your second quote says jiggly sounds better than boney yet your first quote is asking why the OP is being derogatory to one set of women.

It clearly became a devisive issue quite early on and you yourself thought it so from your first quote yet your second says otherwise.

I'm am just wondering where impartiality comes into this where it is obviously and emotive thread and one of a type that is recently causing a lot of issues on the forums and becoming all too common.

Not entirely true. She used the term “boney” in reference to slim women. That has potential to cause upset. She also pitched larger and slimmer women deliberately against each other implying one “looks good” whilst the other “feels good”. Again - potential for upset...

Maybe I'm naive to not see the body shaming hidden. But there's been some rather nasty comments thrown in that direction which are not in the keeping of our newly tolerant and inclusive society.

I don't think she meant to body shame. I think, deep down, she probably just wanted some reassurance that it's attractive to be curvy because we all know the media can wrongly make you feel like there's only one way to be a sexy woman! But she certainly didn't choose her words wisely and I'm sure she regrets that now.

Why don't we just chalk it up now as a learning curve for OP and some others, who are probably watching this thread in horror with no idea how to jump in at this stage.
