Why did the snail

Cross the road? Whilst walking my dog early today, I saw this little fellow struggling with his home to cross the barren tarmac desert.

Do they know where they're going? Are they lost? Can they not turn around?

Theories please.

Why does a snail have to go anywhere, his homes on his back, unless he’s going to place with a better vista, maybe take in the sea views, or mountains perhaps

My nan’s spare room.

Chris Pacham did a program on the great British garden.

Anyway they did an experiment where they gathered snails from all around the garden identified where they came from and released them in the middle of this large garden.

They nearly all went back to the spot they came from so it showed that they actually know where they are going.

I have removed a few...one in particular always came back..that snail had it in for me
