Burton-on-Trent

Had a short spell of re-reading old faves, yeah.

It's such a commitment for me, that I have to be certain I'm gonna learn something or be amazed by a book. Limped through so much dross in the past.

At the beginning of lockdown I thought I would catch up on some reading but I haven't really read anything.

I tend to go through phases with reading so I read 3 or 4 books in a couple of weeks and then nothing for months.

I have read more during lockdown but I have always read a lot, I have rediscovered a literature erotica website which has given some great short stories as well.

Kinda of get that and generally avoid novels for that reason. You need to spend time in actual bookshops or read lots of reviews. Do like biographies , politics, psychology, poetry, things you can just pick up.

Someone recommended grapes of wrath , after wading through all the prefaces, reading notes and , introductions...I stared at the first page for about a week and then gave up

Read a couple of motivational books and am currently reading something about the Knights Templar (non-fiction) interspersed with medical books for university

I've been reading possibly a book a day or every two days . I just can't seem to get my head out of a book at the minute.
