I'm attracted to women, I make no claims otherwise but I'm rubbish at talking to them. I'm pretty rubbish with men to be fair but women I find more difficult. Does anyone have any hints or tips on how to approach them? I'm utterly hopeless.

Just be yourself. That goes for both sexes. As if you were with friends?

Hi OP

Think of the things that get said to you that make you feel good about yourself such a compliments.

You will notice chats you have people are not always instantly flirtatious, that builds up during the chat when the initial ice has been broken. If said too early it can come across as forward or presumptuous.

Just be friendly, nice and have a sparkle about you which helps you stand out from others.

I hope this is ok and helpful advice

Her x

On here it’s pretty easy really.

Send a polite message with a face picture and maybe full length realistic pictures of yourself and if she’s interested then get a conversation going.

It’s all to a bi lady’s advantage on here because you don’t have to try and guess whether she’s interested in woman as for the real world when you need your gaydar to work.

Just be yourself as someone said above me

Approaching other women can feel so hard at times, how do you do it without going down the toxic objectification that can come from some sections of male society? It’s easy to say just act normal but if you’re anything like me that just can’t be done. All I can say is how I would like to be approached and that’s to try and actually strike up a conversation first with some flattering compliments thrown in rather than full on hard core come on.

I thought it would be easier for women to talk to women, cause women know what women want to hear.

But what I do is very gently take the piss out of them, if she comes back at me taking the piss then I know she’s a keeper, if she gets offended I’ve saved myself doing groundwork on someone who I’ve probably got nothing in common with.

I just be myself with both sexes.

General chat to start to break the ice, a little flirting when needed, and of course my banter usually is the deal breaker. Some like it, some don't, some can't keep up with it!

"I thought it would be easier for women to talk to women, cause women know what women want to hear."

Really? I thought people were people and each and every one of us is different.

Also... I don't see the point in saying stuff cos you think it's what someone *wants* to hear. That to me is a bit shit and "playery", surely you should be saying stuff that's real and as natural as possible, that way if there's a connection it's a real one based on personalities that get on instead of one based on words you're saying because you think they're words someone wants to hear.

Look for bisexual women. We're used to being chatted uo by straight men so our standards are really low and therefore your chatting up skills will easily look exceptional .
