Hi all. Thought I'd pop in here and start to talking to some folks and make friends

So what I'd like to know is, what music are you all into?

I'm mainly rock/metal. I used to be a Rock club DJ in the early 2000's as well as fronting a Metal band.

Rock Metal Reggae Britpop .

But my first love is House/Trance

The more classic type, AC/DC, Rainbow kind. But also enjoy some more current as well like Disturbed

Can't beat the Aussie boys for laying down those killer tracks! I listen to all sorts too, it's whatever takes my head out of that space at that time

'80s - some metal but mostly sleaze and LA hair rock.

'90s - bit of BritPop, crusty, grunge, some ambient

'00s - now - eclectic mix of country, alt country, bluegrass, bebop, some blues, bit of classical, whatever I like the sound of really but don't keep up with whatever is current.

Go to bands are Alice Cooper, G'n'R, Hanoi Rocks, Dogs D'Amour, LA Guns, Be Good Tanyas, BRMC, Muse, early Maiden, Therapy?, Beth Orton, Drugstore, Mazzy Star, Uncle Tupelo, Carter USM, Dr Hook, Fields of the Nephilim, Au Revoir Simone et al

my latest pet listening into thing was looking at specific years....

they say that the 60's were brilliant, but i think i can actually make a case that 1971 was the best year for music ever......

Hefty Hideaway

Music has always been my life and soul. I miss gigs terribly.

My eclectic taste is pretty much every genre bar happy hardcore. I'm as comfortable at a rock festival as I am at a Kylie concert, the clothes just change.
