Who is sick of worrying about it?

Whether your a few pounds overweight, underweight or stones either way.

At 45yrs old I'm tired of it.

Is it possible to just accept how we are?

I'm over it.

Is being fat the worst thing that could happen to you?

I'm bloody fed up of wasting my life on it. And sometimes I'm all good and accept my body as it is. Then something will come along and I'm back to square one. At my age I should know flipping better but I don't

Its a curse. Weight sticks to me like glue. I would have to starve myself to lose decent weight.

All I can do is tone up with weights. Love it though. I am never going to be a skinny malink.

I’ve never paid it any thought, it’s something other people do. I can get beach body ready instantly by not giving a fuck what anyone thinks about my body on the beach.

I'm the same

I need to remember that my life is no different fat or thin.

I feel healthy enough - I'm probably not though

I like food and wine, I enjoy exercise too - but it's impossible to out exercise a poor diet.

I guess I'll have to be fat then

I never put on weight though, I can eat what I like and I never go past 11.5 stone, unless my scales are knackered, but I don’t think they are.

That's my view, too. I'm aware of jelly belly, cellulite and lack of tone, but I'm content in my skin and still fit enough to walk 20miles.

I've been overweight, I've been very underweight. And never fucking happy with the way I look.

As I'm getting older, I seem to care a little less about it. I'm more concerned with being healthy and enjoying my food these days

Exactly and half the time to others there's probably not much difference visibly. But my confidence takes a massive knock and I dress to hide everything. It's's not that I don't understand why I'm my size, it's just I like eating and drinking too much. Wish I'd just accept it

I refuse to live life eating chicken and broccoli and counting macros.

Just no.

I'd rather be fat.

I felt like that, never really gave a shit, until I lost alot of weight... Then put on a bit after severe back problems... Now it bothers me more than it ever has as I have noticed how much 2 stone has made a difference to my fitness levels and how much it can inhibit me... Now, trying to lose just a stone is so hard and it is really fucking with my confidence... So ya know

"I need to remember that my life is no different fat or thin."

That’s a good mantra to have. Of course there are benefits to being healthy but that’s not quite the same as being thin.

For what it’s worth, your pictures look great and I’m sure I’m not the only person to think that

If you're a good human and are capable of having orgasms, then everything in between is a lovely bonus. Not matter what you look like. All bodies are beautiful.

I‘m really working on this and I’m seeing results in all aspects of my life. Friends have noticed I’m more outgoing. My confidence and self belief have increased at work. I am much more comfortable sexually and not ashamed of showing off my body. I don’t hide in baggy clothes and I genuinely feel happier. I still have the odd day where I wish my body was different, but they are happening less and less.

You are one sexy lady, with a beautiful body and great smile. Let’s all be kinder to ourselves.

This. When I was slim and muscular from dancing I fretted over my thighs not touching and feeling bandy legged and now as a curvier girl I love my thighs and bum but fret over belly and back fat. Can't have it both ways though...

Me too, I've lost almost 14 years to an eating disorder and it's really about time I stopped letting my weight dictate my self worth and started living.

There are much more important things and life's too short.

I don’t weigh myself anymore. I’m a fuck tonne heavier than people think I am because I’m strong and every time I weigh myself I freak out.

So I look at my body composition instead, and how my clothes fit.

I wish it was so easy, seems it matters more to me than other people. Some days I do manage to think I’m ok, then someone makes a comment and I’m back to the beginning x

Think lots of people struggle, I can literally end up as a heap on the floor crying because of how I look. And I'm with you one little comment or even a look can destroy what little confidence I had x

After years of worrying about my weight and how I look, i’m finally finding a level ground. Most of the time I accept how I look but there are still times I cannot bare to look at myself.

Though I no longer obsess over calories and exercise which i’m so grateful for.

I’m learning to love all myself the good and the bad.

Well I think you look great, I would say I’m envious of your figure, but that doesn’t help how you look at yourself x

I lost 35 kilos fairly recently so now I've got to get over the body image and confidence problems that weren't weight related. Considering I'm in my early 40s, I actually feel better and healthier than I did a decade ago.

It's a lifetimes work for lots of us, especially women, to learn to be indifferent or even appreciate how we look. It wont be achieved overnight because lots of the conditioning happened in our formative years. Let's change how it is for our sons and daughters. Embrace life phases and stop talking about weight, diets, image unless it's relevant to health and well being.

Im watching my body transition with age and the effects of life and experiences. It's equally fascinating and challenging. But I can climb mountains, have meaningful sexual and intimate relationships, cartwheel, splits, run, dance for hours, love, hug, touch and be touched, chop wood, breathe, sing, etc etc etc.

There is much more to celebrate than to restrict because of how I look.

I'd like my chin to stay where it is though.. Its a concern

Yeah, I hear this. I'm back and forth on it.

I think we're often dealt a massive head fuck with this stuff, and when combined with other issues (which we all have to a degree), it can plague us despite knowing better.

I found working on myself made me care a whole lot less about my weight. Which helped me lose weight, because I was fine as I was and I didn't need to eat to compensate for my feelings.

Definitely can tell where I am emotionally by my weight. If I'm happy I'll eat better and exercise more. If I feel like crap I'll eat rubbish and become lethargic and it takes a lot to snap out of it.
