Has anyone had any yet?

Ive got a trip planned to Spain in October... looks like we are in business for that. The company suggest that theyve sent people to Spain the last couple of weeks with no issues and no quarantine on return

What news have you had?

There was an interesting discussion with Martin money saving expert on the radio recently.

His advice, was to not even consider doing so until late August. Are you insured? Potential flight issues, what will holiday resorts look and operate like?

Personally I wouldn't go anywhere near a tourist trap at the best of times but certainly wouldn't go now.

But for many it will be a welcome release...just hope its not a bad decision.

Piers Morgan saying this morning he can't wait to get away. Yeah no doubt he's going to be hiring a secluded private or beach front mansion. I'd be looking forward to that too.

But I wouldn't be jetting off to any normal people resorts just yet. Holidays to me are off for this year.

I think you can make it relatively safe going to Europe. If you drive you're in your own little bubble. If you self-cater and avoid very touristy places you are at least as safe (possibly safer) than being here.

I'm thinking of getting a cottage (in the UK) and working from there for a change of scene.

there are 67 countries on the UK "you can fly to" list.....however..... only 25 of those countries will actually let in people from the UK...or you have to do the 14 day quarentine thing... so at the moment be very careful!!!

I’m off to turkey a week on Friday, all systems go, checked in online, hotel has sent their COVID plan which looks pretty solid and well thought out. I’ve continued to work frontline emergency services throughout all this so it’s not like I havnt been mixing with people as it is.

No, not been tested but not shown any signs of it either. We’ve had a handful of confirmed cases at work but none have been any more ill than a bad cold.

Im hopeful that by October things will be ok. Im supposed to be golfing for 7 days and could do woth the break.... but obviously only if its safe

Was supposed to take the lad away a couple of times this year, we’ll now be having a UK break somewhere and seeing family. Told him might try for December, Christmas away. If not next year I owe him
