a comment I made on another thread prompted the question.

can you put a televison on the wall in a bathroom.?

surely if its behind a sealed perspex unit it would be ok?

Where would you plug it in? Most bathrooms don't have a 240v socket?

I assumed you could make a hole in the wall and plug it to a socket in a bedroom...

You get specialised Bathroom televisions, the power is normally taken from an adjoining room.

Just don't let it fall in the bath! My mum used to prop one on the toilet seat...

You can buy bathroom friendly ones now.

They are waterproof and moisture proof and have heated screens.

I've never understood the desire for a telly in any other room than a living room (at a push I'd say have one in a kitchen if you spend a lot of time in there)...when I'm in the bath I enjoy listening to music but wouldn't watch TV....and I've never had a telly in my bedroom either - diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks eh?
