Are you an artist? A musician? A writer?

If it’s your profession, a hobby or just something that brings you joy, tell us about it here!

When I’m not working my day job, I’m an illustrator and have several solo gallery shows under my belt. One day I’d love to go full time with it!

I also love to write. I’d love to create my own illustrated book of fairy tales one day.

We stay discreet about it because it's quite a significant identifier, but I'll tell you one of us is professional and the other isn't.

I used to write more when I was younger. Did three unpublished novels in my teens. Then hit writers block. Now write bits and pieces and allow my creative juices to run all over this forum.

Have been known to dash of haikus sometimes. Might do a haiku thread at some point.

I write and would love to do more of it, mostly pottering in Stories and Fantasies at the moment. I play the clarinet and played the bass clarinet at school. I sing a little. I use makeup as a creative artistic outlet.

I colour. Can't really call it adult colouring or colouring books for adults as there's always one daft bugger who thinks it's something crude!

I draw a bit but not much.

I used to write a bit of poetry.

You should give haiku a go. Can be great fun and quick. Look up Basho (Japanese master), example from him below:

The old pond,

A frog jumps in:

Plop!

As a hobby I have written various prose (poetry, stories and of course erotica - stories and poetry).

I do have a story here, but cos the average person needs a dictionary, I guess it's very off putting sexually .

As a kid I loved music and my greatest wish was to learn to play the piano. However I was told no at secondary school cos I didn't have one of my own . I even drew a keyboard, I was that enthiastic .

Lack of money has inspired me in my home with upcycling and making window dressings, and transforming wardrobes.

Love reading all these.

I sing, play rudimentary guitar, dance and play.

My work is in creativity with children, especially children and teens with autism and their families. Embodied curriculum, dance, play, music, aerial, community events, festivals... All projects involving the arts and wellbeing and inclusive practice.

Ive never managed to come up with a job title that sums all of that up!

I'm a coded welder (foreman) and I've been lucky enough to have welded on projects that have gone around the world both from the UK and during the 10yrs I lived in Oz.

I've welded on things such as The Hadron Collider, F1 Renault and Mercedes, D class Naval destroyers like HMS Dauntless and Dairing as well as HMS Elizabeth II and nuclear testing equipment for the Atomic Wepons Group to name a tiny few.

I have to be precise and 100% immaculate in my presentation and look upon every job as an expression of art to the extent that somewhere I'll at least weld my initials lol.

If you climb to the top of the Golden Jubilee Bridge next to the london eye you'll find out my name... tiny things aye?

Music, Photography, and Video.

Use to be amateur keyboard player/musician and what the kids call a "Producer" nowadays i.e. music production "in-da-box". Now during lockdown a beginner photographer, and video tuber.

Looking to put all of that together creatively somehow, one fine day.

I’ve worked on a Grammy Nominated Album (Nom: Best Urban Contemporary Album 2016).

I toured extensively with with Pharrell Williams and was in the recording studio with him out in LA very recently. I made headlines with a few big U.K. pop artists. Helped launch the career of a now well known DJ and model.

I’ve written articles in NME, The Guardian, Clash Magazine etc...

None of this is my main job. I just love music and somehow fell into doing these things on the side.

I wish I was creative.

I don't have any creative flair, The rest of my family does and i try but I'm just not that good at attention to detail so I think that might be an issue.

Plus I get bored quite easily but I would love to find something creative I could get stuck into.

Drummer, though haven t for some time now. Writer but not professional. Interestingly now though I am starting to write words to accompany someone elses composition and then Im choreographing a dance. Im also the dancer, once combined it is moved on to the professionals to play with. The last 3 years are so creative for me, Im even creating my own way out clothes and have had a shop offer to sell any I dont wish to keep. My monumental breakdown turned into a breakthrough and with it came creativity.
