There's plenty of time to do something about it. Only 4 weeks can make a difference in what you look and feel like. Gym mat, an exercise app, a calorie counting app and your determination is all that is needed.

You sound fed up OP. Hope you're ok. If you are feeling unsexy then maybe try and start doing something to make yourself feel better. Small steps can make a huge difference over time.

Try setting yourself a small achievable target and go from there.

It may sound harsh, and I know it isn't always easy, but there is only you who can do something about the way you feel.

Good luck and hope you feel brighter soon.

I am really really unhappy with my body atm and not a hope in hells chance would I meet anyone looking the way I do (to me)

I went shopping with my daughter this morning and bought a load of stuff to start calorie counting from tomorrow. I need to also sit and write down an in the house toning plan to go with the walking cardio I am going to do.

I have a shot knee and the 10lbs I have gained over Covid have taken quite an effect on it. Gotta get the junk outta this trunk!!

I've definitely put some weight on in the last few weeks.

Though I have tried to keep active, so not as much as it could have been. Most of my clothes still fit...

So much harder to motivate yourself when your usual routine is out of the window.

The first half of lockdown I was doing quite well - getting out and about, walking a lot, biking, did the firs two weeks of C25K...the last 6 weeks it's all gone to pot due to illness and other things. Reckon I've put back on at least 10lbs of the 3 stone I'd lost before March.

I hear you OP, finding the motivation is hard when you feel like crap. It's a vicious circle. But...you've got this! I'm determined to get out for a log walk tomorrow and start getting back into better, healthier habits.

Count me in for a little motivational group!

I'd love to do some vigorous walking or hiking. I've never tried. Just like the idea of it. During lockdown I have been walking a fair bit by myself whilst listening to podcasts. It's OK but getting kinda old now and notice on my app I'm doing less each week.

That sounds a brilliant idea. Walking is underestimated as a fitness tool I think and so much more enjoyable than other exercising.

Go easy on yourself. It has been super challenging times! Just simply getting moving, walks, air and stretches will make you feel better in yourself. Arriving back in your body gently. You first, just feeling healthier builds confidence. X

When I look in the mirror and see the mess then no. I do not feel confident right now. I know . I do not want to mask myself in makeup and clothes

I completely get it. You need to be happy within yourself and what Freya has said is true. One step at a time. Move more than you did they day before and it’ll all come in time.

If you do want any advice, things you can do etc. So feel free to message. I’ve many a home workout program that is doable and can guide you in what you’re looking to achieve. Subsequently there are many things you can do from YouTube and what not x

Well we can all make a pledge to do an hour of walking for example or whatever we feel is suitable. Starting tomorrow. If it is raining, wear a jacket and wrap up warm! Alternatively, jogging on the spot indoors, jumping Jacks, yoga, whatever people feel like...

Please sign in the dotted line to make your pledge

I've pledged exactly that 2 months and 2 weeks ago. Not easy and have to kick my own but sometimes to keep doing it, but now I'm 13 lbs lighter. It's all about determination and sticking to it.

Right, I am going to make my pledge now. I shall be running 5k today. Its a beautiful day here so no excuses.

After that it's bicep, back and shoulder workout.

Hope some of you manage to achieve your goals today whatever they may be.

I dont see anything wrong with you, you look FINE from the photos but if you want to improve then head to one of those AONBs and walk. You'll get something physical from it and you will get something mentally from it, with the views. I prefer mountains, rivers, waterfalls and seas, you appear to have a nice selection around you. I recommend the Peak District as a start

I hear you OP. I've worked throughout the Pandemic and our service has been under massive amounts of pressure, so I've grabbing food on the go rather than a proper healthy diet, by the time I get home I literally cook the 5 year old a children's meal quickly and I have a cup of tea and off to bed we go I'm so exhausted!!

I'm not feeling overly confident about my looks right now at all, I look like a run down exhausted stressed key worker

You aren't alone with the covid curves before lockdown I had recently lost 7 and half stone from size 20 to size 12.

Was so proud of myself, finally feeling sexy and confident. Lockdown came and stuck at home I have gained nearly 3 stone I am so disappointed in myself. And I feel it, I'm sluggish and down.

Things are going back to normal, I am not confident enough for meets or clubs yet. But I am staying positive, small targets, daily walking. Done it once can do it again.

Feel free to message and we can give each other daily boosts

Sexy is mindset not a waistline xx

I love that mindset but I don't think it's true for all. My wife lacks confidence because if weight she's put on. Once it's gone she'll feel more confident
