Happiest film

Saddest film thread has me taking a lessened turn so I’m changing it up. What’s your happy film. Something when you’re down that you can chuck on and just enjoy?

Mine would be pretty much anything Pixar. Even with some unhappy plot points the general merriment that comes at the end tends to be more heart warming.

I was thinking the same. I don’t think it’s as good but to actually specify the rest and leave it out means there’s likely some underlying issue

I just really don't enjoy it and find the storyline boring! And I'm a massive fan of Shrek it's just shite.

Hercules. You've got the uplifting gospel muses, the quick wit of Megara and the awesomeness of Hades. Easy viewing and so good.

Also Dr Strange. For obvious reasons.

Well of course, he defeats dormammu and successfully defends the realm. Can’t get more feel good than that

Well for what it’s worth I hope it doesn’t come back out until Christmas but if it does it’s good that you’ve got it as a feel good flick xx

Oh yeah!! Both Mary Poppins and The Greatest Showman.

I’d also like to add Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to the list, and Singing in the Rain.
